9-BT-28ZA Futaba Nixie Era 7-segment 9-digit VFD Tube board
This is a Vacuum Fluorescent Display board (VFD display kit board) with a Futaba display on it.
9-BT-28ZA Futaba is a 9-digit 7-segment VFD tube, showing digits 0…9 , decimal point to the right of each digit and small numbers “1” and “2” inside the rightmost digit.
Size of each digit is approx. 8 x 4 mm = 0.31 x 0.16 inch
Size of the tube is 100 x 20 mm = 3.94 x 0.80 inch (excluding the nipple and the pins)
Size of the board (L x H): 112 x 103 mm ~ 4.4 x 4.05 inch

The VFD tube is soldered to a board and comes complete with a ~50cm (~20″) cable. The cable ends with a RG-35 female connector. I have this connector as a M+F set in my other ebay listings .
This display board is an original spare part for a Bulgarian-made cash register. All boards for sale here (and the tubes on them) are NEW, never used.
Tubes like this one are very popular in Cash Registers, calculators or in Nixie/VFD Tube clocks because they show very bright digits.
Brand new tubes of this type are not manufactured anymore and if you manage to find a new one it will definitely cost you more than US $25. Only here you may find this tube on a fraction of this price.

EXCEPTIONS:
1. ITALIAN customers, please be more patient. For unknown reasons deliveries to Italy usually take longer than to the rest of Europe, i.e. 12…16 days.
2. Good news for AUSTRALIAN customers, usually shipment to Australia is pretty fast, it takes no more than 8…12 days.
If a buyer purchases several items I will combine the shipment to reduce shipment costs. In this case please wait to receive the final invoice with the combined shipment cost
