Depron is a trademarked brand extruded closed cell XPS (eXtruded Poly-Styrene) foam. This foam is popular in the construction of aircraft due to it’s a light weight, relative stiffness, and moisture resistance. It is also highly workable compared to other foams, as it is easily cut, glued, sanded, and heat formed.
