Vintage Antique Christening Gown Dress Baby Doll Inverted V Front Lace Panel. Estate find. I was not able to date this item, the style says early 1800s, but the lace has a tiny bit of a stretch to it that would put it mid 1900s. There are a couple holes in the lace, one beginning hole/shredding up by the color, and I seen one pin hole in the body of the gown. Due to aging, this gown is a bit off-white. It is unknown how white the garment was originally. The chest measures 8″ from armpit to armpit, and from shoulder to hem is about 26″. ** please note I am a terrible folder, I will try my best, but garment will most likely wrinkled during travels.
